The Parrot Heads of North Carolina, whose motto is we party with a purpose!, is a regional group of fans of Jimmy Buffett that belongs to the national organization, Parrot Heads in Paradise (PHiP).
PHiP consists of over 250 (and growing!) chartered clubs in the U.S., Canada, and Australia. These clubs provide a network for like-minded Parrot Heads to enjoy each other’s company. We believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back.
In Jimmy Buffett's words, I have always looked at life as a voyage, mostly wonderful, sometimes frightening. In my family and friends, I have discovered treasure more valuable than gold.
So, with that in mind, we work together to stay current on fun activities and event schedules. We also sponsor and participate in happenings benefitting charities that touch the lives within the Parrot Head community, their families, and their neighbors, who all coexist on this big round ball.
In this process of having fun and making new friends, we believe in leaving something positive behind. Our club is open to anyone with the tropical spirit and desire to contribute to the betterment of our community.
And so, at Jimmy's request, we will continue to
keep the party going.
